Caroline van Oosten de Boer is an entertainment editor from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Caroline started one of the first niche weblogs, U2log.com, in 2000.

Two years later, she became the driving force behind the community weblog Whedonesque.com, which has since become an acclaimed source of news on the writer and director Joss Whedon and his creations Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly and Astonishing X-men.

Caroline has written three music-related books:

1. Gavin Friday - The Light and Dark (Self published, 1991)
2. U2 Live - A Concert Documentary (Omnibus Press 2003 edition)
3. The Complete Guide to the Music of U2 (Omnibus Press, 2004 edition)

Caroline worked in Dutch public broadcasting for ten years before joining DAG Media bv, a joint venture by Dutch telco KPN and the publishing company PCM.

Stephen Fry once said Caroline's a stand up chameleon. Not a lot of people know that.
