David Carson
Carson was one of the most innovative and influential graphic designer of the nineties, father of the "grunge" design.
He is a self taught designer, learning through experiments. Probably his lack of design scholastic has given him the freedom and freshness of style.
In fact, in the beginning he was a succesful professional surfer (ranked as 9th best worldwide in 1989). He has a BA in Sociology.
He was art director of Transworld Skateboarding and Ray Gun magazines.
