Dave Troy is a programmer who has created a series of 'mashups', including the mesmerising Twittervision, and it's sister site, Flickrvision, which plots updates to both Twitter and Flickr on maps based on the location of the poster. Both services now also have a 3D spinning Google Earth style globe version.

Troy has also created Twittersearch as well as Twittermap, which uses the same data as Twittervision but allows people to find other uses based on a location.
