Cory Doctorow is an author, journalist, and blogger known best for Boing Boing, the site he co-edits, and his science fiction novels, including Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom and Eastern Standard Tribe. Cory is an outspoken critic of copyright laws and is an advocate of Creative Commons, under which he has published many of his books.

Cory contributes to Wired, Popular Science, The New York Times, the Boston Globe, and the Globe and Mail. He was recently named the Canadian Fulbright Chair in Public Diplomacy at the USC Center on Public Diplomacy. He previously served as the Director of European Affairs for the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
